My body wants a BOOTCAMP!

I am in such need to shake up my fitness routine. I have stopped doing as much weight training than I was before (Now, I usually get 1 weight class in per week!) My body is crying out for change... something to kick my butt. I NEED A BOOTCAMP!

I was thinking of self motivating myself to set up a routine that I can do in the park across the street. I would be able to perform it a few evenings a week (as well as on my weekends!) But I really don't know what my body needs right now to kick it up a notch!?! I should make an appointment with a personal trainer/nutritionist for a few sessions this month. I'm sure with their help, we could set up a plan that I will stick with and see some real results! (That would make me so happy!) And since I work at the gym, it shouldn't be hard to find a good trainer to talk to! ( I do have one in mind... Dr. Wendy Carvalho-Ashby )

I've shamefully fallen off of my workout horse. But Sarge has recently fell in love with this site.
http://www.crossfit.com/

He's currently doing this workout that he found.
21, 15, and 9 rep rounds for time of:
95 pound Squat clean
L Pull-ups
95 pound Thruster
Handstand Push-ups
He did this the other day at a field near our house, and said that it took him 29 minutes and he almost threw up three times. Yeah, that sounds like loads of fun to me.
I think that this is the company/guys tat developed the workouts for the cast of "300" and you know how ripped those dudes were.
As soon as I can get rid of my second hand cold, I'm back in the gym.

Wow that lady seems over qualified to be at your gym (a chiropractor too!!!) defintely who I'd be talking to!
If I could even get my sorry ass to the gym more than once a week I'd be pleased as punch.

I've always wanted to try Crossfit...but it's been a little out of my price range and not so convenient with my schedule. People throw up from those workouts! Anyhow, finding a trainer sounds like a great idea! Or just sign up for a boot camp...do they have those in Calgary? They must!
