Feeling MUCH better today!
I felt like I was coming down with the flu yesterday. I woke up nausious, and by the end of the day my muscles were very sore and I had a massive headache! I took a hot bath last night, went to bed without a snack, and woke up this morning feeling as fresh as a daisy! Gotta love that feeling! (Unfortunately I didn't accomplish much last night :(
I am soo dieing to order some stuff off my favorite woman's fitness clothing website: Team Estrogen... but I'm so afraid of the extra fees (customs)!!! I hear they can almost be more then your actual order! Does anyone know how to avoid these fees?

Team Estrogen? *giggle* There isn't much you can do to avoid duty. It's usually some percentage, up to 20%, but they don't always charge. I haven't quite figured it out.

What if I had the items shipped to a friend (who lives in the states) and then had her ship them to me... could Duty be avoided then?

I think that you could. The friend could mark them as "gift".
Not of course that I'm suggesting anything of the kind.

Jess do you have a friend stateside that could ship them to you?? Remember that you will be paying double shipping- ship to your friend and then ship to you.
what are you ordering that would tally up such high duty??
