Collin's terrible weekend!

Collin had his wisdom teeth removed on Saturday at noon. He's still feeling shitty due to the pain in his mouth. Poor guy! What I feel even worse for him for, it that yesterday was his sister's 23rd Birthday party, and he wasn't able to eat ay of the food or cake we had! (The cake was excellent, his mom made a chocolate cake from scratch! YUM!) Maybe there will be some leftovers for him next weekend, when he's feeling better! (but that's a big MAYBE... it was damn good cake!)

I still have all 4 of my wisdom teeth. My orthodontist didn't think it was necessary for me to have them removed if they weren't causing me any problems. I guess in hind sight, if I was going to get them removed it would have been a good idea to get them removed when I had my other teeth removed... then I would have had all the pain at one time.
So, here's hoping I never have to get my wisdoms removed because I hate pain!!!

Poor Collin! Getting wisdom teeth pulled out isn't usually very fun. I've had 3 taken out, all at different times. The last one was quick. It took longer for the freezing to work.

It's too bad about the cake...You can bake him a cake when he's all recovered!

They told me its better to get them removed when your younger (i was 24) but I don't know what was so good about it... it still hurt!
Tell Collin's mom to bake him a wisdom tooth party cake... any excuse is good for cake!

ps... Jenny, if you can get the kids wisdom teeth removed when they are just 'buds', do that, save them the pin of having to get them removed as an adult!!!

Jes, Two of my teeth were still in the bud stage... they had to saw my jaw open to pluck them out...

I don't think it matters when you get it done... seriously.
