Always an Adventure!

Today was the big ski day at Lake Louise. I had to drive myself there because I had to leave before the rest of the group due to a prior engagement scheduled for tonight. The drive up was totally great! Roads were clear as a bell (no snow) and very little traffic! (Perfect, you might say!)

I met up with the people in my group that came up on the bus when I got there. (It was perfect timing!) I started the day hooking up with some other girls that were snowboarding. Little did I know that they were going to want to WAIT around at every little spot for the slowest girl. Ugh. (I know, I've been there too, but man, it's annoying when you pay full price for the lift ticket and really just WANT TO BOARD!) So I broke away from the group and rode on my own for a few runs. It was good! Got a good feel for the hill... I didn't really care for it!

Anyways... it was still a great day, weather wise. I had it all planned out, I had to be in my car by 3:45 in order to get home to shower and make it to this other date I had to be at.
... Little did I reaize that my BATTERY would be completely DEAD when I got out to my car! :( Booo!
I was really impressed at how I handled the situation! I spent about a second freaking out about it then I calmly walked around the parking lot asking strangers if they carried jumper cables? ha ha. back to the lodge, used the washroom, and then asked a guy at rentals, if he could help me out with my situation. A really cute service guy (with a sexy Australian accent) saved my day today! He brought out this booster power supply machine out to my Element, and like a charm, it started up :) I wanted to kiss that guy!!! (PLEASE, could I???) LOL
