Loving the plan!

I've been spending most of my on-line time at SparkPeople logging my fitness and nutrition goals for the day. I forgot how much I actually enjoy keeping a food journal, and how MUCH it really does help! (Seeing the calories get added of your total for the day is a real eye opener!) Lately I've been eating between 1600 and 1800 per day. Not sure what a normal range should be, but I'm happy with these numbers!

Yesterday Collin and I went for a walk around the Glenmore resevoir... I forgot how long that apth is when you are not on wheels! I don't think we've ever walked it before (we usually rollerblade it!) It turns out it's actually 14km long! It took us 3 1/4 hours (with one pit stop for water) to get back to the truck! Both of us were starving by the time we got to the truck, not to mention completely pooped out! It was a great though, because I knew that night we were just going to be sitting in front of the tube watching the Flames game. (We robbed them from that game!)
My poor feet, I need a hot bath tonight!

When I was on the Diabetic diet it was 2000-2200 calories a day and I was losing 4 to 6 lbs a week! They made me eat more food :0)
You must be doing great at those calorie levels and with the amount of activity you are doing!
Hope the feet feel better!?

Yeah, I feel fantastic! I have lost about 4-5 pounds and I've only been on this plan for a week. (I'll say 4 pounds, cause my scale had a schytzophrenic episode this morning when I weighed myself! LOL)

I don't plan on working out today though... I fainted instead! LOL

Scared?
Yeah, I was at that stage when I first started this nutrition plan too. I didn't want to believe my diet was all that bad... but dang! the sweet things sure did pack the pounds on, though!

I'm seeing my skin clear up, and I do feel firmer, and just overall better!

And honestly, being accountable for everything you eat, by keeping an on-line food journal for everyone to see (Like I have on Spark) is a great motivator to EAT HEALTHY! It's been working for me!

and I also just met a woman on Spark who also has UC, like you. She told me a bit about her battles with it and sounds a lot like you!
