Miniature Beaded Canary
Instructions I used to create this, can be found here:
How darn cute is this?
I made it to give to my mom; she loves birds, and she breads canarys. I am sure she'll want me to make her a few more of these!

That is just too cute!! I envy you and your smallwork items. Too cute, I don't have the patience, to do that kind of work, and my hands get too clammy.
You should make it into a mobile phone charm. You can get the lariats at pretty much any crafty place in the bead section. I got some from Wal-Mart, I'm not sure if I've seen them at Michael's.
Or order off of e-bay.

Really, yopu can get those lariats from Walmart? Hmm... I'll have to look harder next time I'm there! (I was also thinking this little guy would look great dangling from a cel phone :)
Yeah, I must have patience, cause it took me 2 attempts to make this bird.. and it took over 3 hours! :)

Thanks, Ali... I'm glad my work inspires you! I wish we could spend some time together for beading nights... I always get inspired by people when we do those!
Have you done anything with your beads lately? I'd love to see it, if you have!
PS... Where at Michael's were the cel phone lariats? Honestly, I almost LIVE there, in the bead section, and I've never noticed them before!!! Weird!

It's been so long since i bought them, also haven't been at Michael's for a while but i believe it was at the bead isle and along with the bead findings. I will take a look next time i'm there.
